TOFT UK is a luxury British knitwear and wool company, processing UK alpaca fibre into luxury knitting yarn which is sold alongside a range of luxury 100% wool products and exclusive easy-to-make knitting and crochet patterns.
TOFT was founded in 2006 by Kerry Lord, who is also the writer and designer of the Edward’s Menagerie crochet pattern series including Edward’s Menagerie: Birds, Edward’s Imaginarium and Edward’s Menagerie: Dogs.
TOFT has been using Fisherprint for two years now to produce its 36-page, quarterly magazine, which is a collection of knitting and crochet patterns as well as news and articles from Kerry and the TOFT team.
Viv was lucky enough to be invited to meet the lovely team at the TOFT Studio: a bespoke on-farm educational and retail facility comprising an inspirational studio, alpaca farm and shop.
Viv was also treated to a talk by world renowned designer Erika Knight as TOFT are stocking Erika Knight’s new wild wool as their first ever guest yarn – made with Nettles from the Himalayas.
During the visit we were excited to hear all about the exciting new products Kerry and the team are working on – and we were admittedly rather proud to see all of our printed books and magazines on sale in the shop. The high-quality print finishes used on these projects matching this high-end, premium business.
Alpaca knitting yarns, wool, accessories and gifts can be purchased through the TOFT retail shop.
